To motivate and empower others like yourself to become proactive in helping those less fortunate in their community. Here at On The Fence, Publications, we believe in giving back and inspiring others to do the same.
That’s why we created S.C.A.Y. (Someone Cares About You) — our outreach program dedicated to providing essentials, encouragement, and hope to those in need.
🌟 Why S.C.A.Y. Matters
You may not realize how powerful it is to let someone know that someone cares about them. Even the smallest type of support can make a world of difference.
When we started, we had no idea how easy it could be to help someone in need — or how deeply it would impact us and those around us. We want to show you what we have done and how you can the same and more.
👕 What We Do
We Provide:
- Clothing, food, water, and other necessities to those in need.
- Gift cards and supplies for proven outreach helpers.
- Positive interactions that uplift spirits and build safer communities.
*What is one of the most requested items, you ask?
Socks! (Something so simple we take for granted.)
💙 How It Works
- Donations and a portion of all net profits from On The Fence, Publications goes directly to fund S.C.A.Y.
- We use those funds to buy needed items.
- We distribute the items directly to those in need ourselves or provide gift cards and/or supplies to people like you who want to spread kindness in your community.
- We provide motivation and emotional support through e-mails, texts, and phone calls.
- If you’re showing kindness and helping others, we want to encourage and get behind you to do more.
🌍 The Ripple Effect
If you help your neighborhood once every few months, and others do too — soon, someone is out every night offering support. That ripple effect makes your community safer, stronger, and more connected.
Because when you know someone’s name and share kindness with them, they’re no longer a stranger. They’re part of your community.
INTERESTING FACT: most towns have more than 365 people living in it. If you can find 365 people in your town to go out 1 day a year, you would have your community covered every night of the year. No excuses.

Community Outreach Program
Our outreach initiative, S.C.A.Y. (Someone Cares About You), is dedicated to providing hope and essentials to those in need. From clothing and food to simple acts of kindness, S.C.A.Y. reminds people that they are not forgotten. A portion of every purchase helps fund this mission, allowing us to provide supplies directly or equip others to spread care in their own communities. Together, we can create a ripple effect of compassion — proving that even small actions can make a big difference.
